Can you help me find a man of the slip-on athletic shoe similar to what I have done?
I'm wearing a navy blue Reebok slip-on that looks athletic I bought in (approximately) 2002. Not a mule. No elastic laces, zippers or buckles. It looks nothing like the road to Firefox I've seen in Reebok, Nike, Adidas and outlet stores this past weekend. There are several different trends in athletic slip-ons, and I do not like any of them. 1) I think athletic shoes are huge springs, coils, gel cushions, or whatever in the heel are ridiculous for me: a 31yr old. 2) The shoes that are geared towards people camping / whatever and come in colors called "mud" … not my style. 3) The shoes that scream for attention using three colors do not match. 4) Slip-ons that are targeted to retirees, no fuss, and not style. Madison Avenue is no longer serving my age group? I see a lot of shoes for teenagers and grandparents and nothing in the middle of the section of track.
